Happenings of my life ( Part 2 )

My life during this June holiday was quite boring as I had nothing to do at home except doing homework and practicing band music. But sometimes, I felt it was fun as I make myself coming to school regularly for some meetings and activities.

The meetings that I usually attend in school is for the Student Councillor as we are preparing for the camp which is from Eleventh of June to Thirteenth of June. I wish this camp must be beneficial and useful to all student councillors as we ( the Secondary Three Badge ) lead this camp.

The reason for this camp is to define the aims, vision and roles of Student Council from perspective of the students, to build comradeship, to build teamwork, to build confidence in self and trust in comrades and lastly, to launch student NE Ambassadors. Not only that, to build relationship and to create bond among each and every councilors which will last long.

As we had finished discussing about this camp, it took about three to five hours as our main aim is to plan properly and to make this camp a meaningful camp which cannot be forget easily.

I was very excited and eager to know how the camp goes on well. But this year’s camp will be different from last year’s camp as there will be many exciting activities and fieldtrips going to come. I believe that it will be a good experience for all councilors. And I hope that this experience will lead everyone to the end.

Happenings of my life ( Part 1 )

My life during the June holiday was quite busy with my school homework and school activities and events. But I felt bored as I could not get the chance to meet my friends in school for remedies or extra lessons.

Some of my friends, who had nothing to do in school, stayed at home, watched TV and took their day off. But to me it is not, because mostly ninety percent of my life had spent in school attending classes and events such as Tamil camp. The rest of the ten percent of my life had spent at home watching television and took my day off too.

So far the most interesting event that I took part in school was the Tamil Camp. The reason is because it was a one day camp. Not only that, our ex-Chong Boon Nites came back to school to celebrate this event with us. Some of the tamil students took part in performances such as dancing and playing instruments. They put a very fabulous performances specially the instrumental group. Which they played well. I was inspired by the group as I felt wanted to join the group and be part of the group.

Actually on that day, I realized that it was not only a Tamil camp, it were also a Multi Racial Camp. Which later on, formed a small group consist of five Chinese, three Tamil and 1 or 2 Malay students. The reason is because each group has to go for a tour in the canteen where the stalls which the students made show as their traditional methods where we have to do and show it to them. It took about five to ten minutes to round each stall and I was tired of walking in the canteen but it was a good experience and day to me which I could not able to forget.
